In addition, we are inviting all students for a free pizza lunch with our keynote speaker, Dr. Edythe London, on Monday June 4th from 12PM-2PM in the Medical Science Building Room 4227. This is a great opportunity for students to network with our speaker, inquire about our speaker’s research, and hang out with your fellow graduate students over a free lunch.

Hi everyone,

The Pharmacology Graduate Students’ Association (PGSA) is happy to announce that the 2018 Visions in Pharmacology (VIP) research day will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

As a student-run organization, we do our best to keep graduate students and faculty members connected through the organization of a number of philanthropic, research-related, and social events. VIP is a research day that allows students in the department to showcase their research to fellow students as well as faculty members. VIP also provides the opportunity to learn about the interesting research of the selected keynote speaker. Previous distinguished lecturers include: Dr. Peter Van Loo (2017), Dr. Terry Kenakin (2016), Dr. Linda Dwoskin (2015), and Dr. J. Steven Leeder (2014).

Students of the Pharmacology graduate program will have the opportunity to: (1) submit an abstract for a poster presentation, (2) submit an abstract for an oral presentation, or (3) just attend to see what your fellow peers have been researching. Please save the date (Tuesday, June 5, 2018) and we will provide more information to you about registration in the upcoming weeks.
