At the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, we are reminded of the work of Frederick Banting at the University of Toronto as we celebrate a century of health innovation with Insulin 100. The revolutionary gift of insulin permanently changed the live of people with diabetes, and it has fuelled continued investment in life-saving knowledge, innovation and improvements in health care for individuals in our communities and around the world.
