Past Recipients

2025-2026: Anjali Mohile, Linda Lee

Linda LeeLinda has long been captivated by the science of drugs and drug discovery, which led her to pursue the Pharmacology and Toxicology Joint Specialist Program at the University of Toronto. Within the program, she found a vibrant and supportive community and a diverse set of opportunities that broadened her understanding of drug development, safety, and their role in improving healthcare outcomes.

Linda engaged in a variety of experiences offered by the Department, most notably conducting cancer research in Dr. Leonardo Salmena’s lab and participating in the fourth-year capstone course, JPM400, where she examined the commercialization and bench-to-bedside translation of new therapies. These experiences deepened her commitment to connecting scientific discovery with patient care. Additionally, she enjoyed sharing her experiences with students in the PharmTox Learning Community, reinforcing her view that while academics is important, meaningful impact is enriched by broader engagement and community involvement.

Linda is excited to pursue graduate studies in the Applied Clinical Pharmacology (ACP) program at the University of Toronto.
