Students in SLCs have an opportunity to connect with alumni, senior students and faculty in their Department. There are also numerous activities, workshops and field trips offered throughout the year designed to develop academic skills, explore career options and build personal and professional networks.
In 2018-2019, Pharmacology & Toxicology was one of four departments in the Faculty of Arts & Science to sign up for the SLCs pilot. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and Pharmacology & Toxicology will once again participate in the SLCs in 2019-2020.
