Arun Ravindran

Dr. Arun Ravindran is currently a Full Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry, Pharmacology & Toxicology, and the Institute of Medical Sciences Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. He is a Senior Scientist at the Campbell Family Research Institute at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health, Toronto.

Dr. Ravindran’s clinical and research interests are in mood and anxiety disorders, in particular its neurobiology and therapeutics. He also has had a long-term interest in global mental health and has developed, evaluated, and implemented programs in low- and middle-income countries in Asia and Central America. He has published over 350 peer-reviewed papers and was nominated by the Web of Science - Clarivate to be in the top 1% of cited researchers in Psychiatry and Psychology/cross fields globally, for the past 4 years (2020-2023).
